Deltarune recreated chapter 3 empress jades story.

WHO IS EMPRESS JADE

empress jade is the main villain of chapter 3 of deltarune recreated.

she represents the sin of lust because of her lust for power and p%rn. yes, unfortunately she's a p%rn addict but I'm going to explain it better so no controversies will start.

ABOUT HER ADDICTION

she has this addiction because of her loneliness. she has never been married in her life so she uses p%rn to cope with it. by watching it and doing it with Mr. five star. she pays him by the way to do it. he is only doing it for the money.

luckily so my au won't become the most hated out of them none of this stuff is actually shown or mentioned directly it's just hinted at.

and plus, after meeting color king she falls in love with him and let's go of all of her porn addictions and lust and find's real love like it Always should have been. the two end up becoming married in the end and they both end up happy.

so, I hope that part won't spark up any hate.

HER LORE.

empress jade is the queen of the dark world in the dreemurr house.

and all she wants is to see her people happy.

one day her and her people were brainwashed by the knight into thinking they were abandoned by the lightners and no longer had purpose. and this sparked mass depression on her people.

day by day darkners would end their lives knowing they meant nothing.

empress jade and her sister knew they had to do something.

so, one day the knight created a dark fountain. but because the room didn't have a specific theme, the fountain became weak and unstable and crystalized the dark world turning it into a wasteland.

the crystals were dangerous and would turn the darkners into monster's however empress jade saw them as a gift from the knight. she saw power inside that could be harvested. and she believed they could make her people happy again. but little did she know they would cause more harm than good.

her sister Agatha however knew they were dangerous and tried to warn her not to use them. but jade didn't listen and casted her own sister out of the kingdom because she thought she was a traitor and didn't want her people to be happy. Agatha ends up becoming the secret boss of the chapter. but that story was already told.

so, after that she spreaded the crystals throughout the kingdom thinking she was making people happy again. but she was just making things worse and worse.

after a while she didn't just want to crystalize the dark world. but the lightworld as well.

so, she captured toriel to help with her plan. kind of like how queen wanted to make a knight out of Noelle jade wanted to make a roaring knight out of toriel so she could help make people happy. say's sarcastically.

by the end of the chapter, she is confronted, and Rosey makes her realize the damage she has done and how she could have made it even worse if she continued the plan.

empress jade feels really guilty and pleads for mercy explaining how she just wanted her people to be happy again.

and because all she was trying to do was help save her people and she didn't mean any harm she is forgiven.

to make up for her actions she let toriel go and let them seal the fountain, knowing it's the only way to free her people from the crystal curse.

they are recruited to the tokyo region aka the castle town of the au and everyone is happy.

HER CONNECTIONS WITH OTHER CHARACTERS.

before the apocalypse she adopted an orphaned spirit animal darkner known as hunter who has spent his entire life looking for his family believing they are still alive and somewhere out there

jade cares for him and wants the best for him. however, because of his skilled training she sends him out on dangerous missions putting him in life threatening situations.

her connection with ralph is that she want's to help him.

ralph has been neglected by toriel for a while and jade feels bad for him.

eventually he convinces him to help her in return of getting revenge on toriel. so basically, ralph does become an antagonist in this chapter.

she once dated the champion, but the champion mistreated her, and they ended up breaking up.

she mistreats toriel cause of how toxic she sees her as. she locks her in a cage and sometimes enslaves her.

and like I said with color king. they fall in love and find happiness

her connection with Agatha. after neglecting her she did feel mass guilt and wanted to apologize but could never find her.

and there isn't much to say about Mr. five star.

in the light world she is a worn-out dress that toriel no longer wears.

and that is the full story. I hope you liked it. comment your opinions on it. what you like and don't like about it. I think I can already tell what most of you won't like about it.

had a dream that they put a sonichu reference in deltarune as a billboard that was so massive that it took up the entire screen and was basically its own map, featuring him and a sans-sonic sansichu mix both facing each other and looking down, very pensive and deep in thought, placing a hand on each other’s chest while holding a fist to their own over a pink background with stars. and this caused such an uproar that it got on the NEWS, where they revealed a lifesize recreation of the billboard on live tv by drawing back huge red sparkly curtains. the news lady was microscopic on screen b/c of how big it was and full deadpan explaining the lore behind sonichu and ut/dr

the prodigal son returns

I think the majority of the deltarune fandom has 2 problems, the first of which being that, unlike undertale, we already know what toby fox is capable of, we know about the characters and we’re watching the progress of deltarune take place, giving us time to overanalyse. Where in undertales case, it came in one piece as a surprise to everyone, making it one of the best indie games to ever exist because of that subvert in expectations. But in terms of deltarune, there’s going to inevitably be a let down no matter what happens with the rest of the games, BECAUSE of the intense fanbase around it watching it’s construction, there’s no longer an opportunity to be surprised because everyone hyperanalyses everything based off of Toby foxes previous work.

I’m not saying that the deltarune community is bad or that toby fox isn’t an amazing writer, what I’m saying is that the deltarune fanbase forgets that the game *is* a game and what happens in the game has to happen in a way to make the game playable, overanalysing certain things within the game make no sense from a narrative perspective because they’re trying to make connections or explanations for things that happen BECAUSE it’s a game, not a storybook.

for example; Ralsei saying he sensed a dark presence and rushed over, people over analyse this despite the fact the game would not function if ralsei WASNT there. Same thing for the kris knight theories etc. the actual time it takes for kris and Susie to go from the school to the library isn’t as short as it is in the game, it HAS to be like that in order for the game to be playable.

it’s like how EVERY SINGLE RECREATION of any undertale or deltarune location is built exactly like what was in the game instead of considering the fact that the lore and world is different to the actual gameplay, for example; Snowdin is actually a sprawling town with much more in it than what’s shown in the game, as confirmed by Toby in the undertale art book, the same can be said for toriels house, or the sprites for knightknight, etc. they’re there BECAUSE OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE GAMES CREATION. Not because Alphys’s lab actually has a box that turns into a bed.

the undertale and deltarune fandom are really really really stupid in this fact as they continue to think that everything within the game IS THE WORLD, when in fact it’s not, yes the story elements and everything important IS PART OF THE WORLD. But a lot of elements that are implemented are in there because of the situation toby was in when creating it, there’s a frowning demon but toby forgot to add it, ETC!!

Hey just a random anon poppin' in to say love your fic on Deltarune, ngl at first thought I wouldn't like it had been reading a lot of stuff looking for a good yandere kris as I was craving it but all of them left me disconnected how ironic with your fic title it finally scratched that itch and even allowed me to start reading some other stuff now feeling more connected to the idea of kris

However, don't think I've found one yet that tops your idea of them and the way you write them (I've also only looked on Tumblr so far but with how great yours has been at having me on the edge of my seat I don't know if I'll ever find one that tops you)

And goner! Goner is amazing! I usually end up either just accepting or hating a lot of writers who insert characters that feel like mostly oc material but goner doesn't at all and fits really well with the story (Really impressive tbh cuz sometimes on first readings even when a character isn't the op oc insert and actually plays into the story I can end up feeling eh about them just due to deciding they are but goner just immediately on the first few lines captivated me)

It probably helps that most of it is your interpretation on them since Kris also doesn't have much personality known about them so cause of that nothing feels screaming out of place or wrong instead it reminds me of when I read a lot of au stuff- with fics that feel like their trying to capture the magic of the source material I think I get a lot more critical but your writing in this fic has it's own magic and lore

Like why they're both obsessed! The SOUL is pretty much drug-like and addicting to such a point without their guidance Kris is crippled, this not only creates amazing tension with their weakened state but also really makes you think about if it's actually even good for either of them to pine after the very soul that will take them both over. But as the soul we also have a life not of our own to live, to see, and explore every possibility and every outcome. The reader is almost god-like with resets but an easily chained-up one without a host. Which also creates an understanding of why Kris chooses to put the reader in a cage, limit them and create interest and mystery but also because that feeling of power over something so powerful has to also be somewhat addicting and why they view the soul as wholeheartedly (pun intended) *theirs*

And it also shows how much they're willing to go through to get it back that even while weakened and at every possible disadvantage they still want to risk it all.

And honestly with all of this really do feel like the SOUL in this situation, which may be my favorite part as the main element you do keep in deltarune is that feeling of playing a game. Is there that concern for goner? Yes, but do I also want to see how far goner and kris will go tearing each other apart to see who gets the SOUL? Also yes. Recreates that aspect of deltarune very well including the accurate freak out every person playing games has when the character their playing makes a sudden decision [See goner killing a monster cuz they called them Kris] and it perfectly ties it back into the plot and uses it to make further tension as the SOUL just goes along this new path while Kris is freaking out thinking there have already been resets because of it.

Just? Love? So? Much?

Keep doing what you're doing- I hope my feedback has only influenced you in positive ways- (slightly debated on taking out the more negative aspects where I mentioned things I disliked in other fics and things I hyper-fixated on or possibly misremembered outa fear it would make you change yourself too much- I have no idea what I'm talking about or what makes a story a good story only what makes my brain go brrrrrrr and that's all you should read this as, someone just really over-excited rn- ill probably calm down later)

i will take everyman over gaster any day. feels like looking at any theories about deltarune will get you gaster. everyman is a breath of fresh air <3

Legit. Its a little exhausting, for me at least, that in 7 years we still have ZERO new or conclusive information regarding him. (no bad blood with Toby Fox and his Team, the mystery keeps the fans going and I am still excited for future games/projects :D)

But No matter how you spin it. The probably of a fan-recreation of him somewhere on the internet that lines up with what he is canonically is higher than most...

Anyways..... I like Everyman. Sadly there really isn't much to him regarding LORE. He doesn't stand out very well. YET somehow he's showed up more than the GOshDaNG egg in Deltarune?? I can only hope he has an interesting payoff. (Although I have my doubts as he's really only an easter-egg and random encounters shouldn't be integral to understanding a story.)

(ALTHOUGH.... Deltarune Ch2 has made it clear that secret bosses will/may be more integral to the story going forward, so who knows if Everyman will be added later on as a "mandatory encounter")

Design notes:

-Hoodie design is reminiscent of Chara’s shirt (In UT, Asriel has multiple stripes while Chara just had one stripe)

-Asriel wears gloves and shoes. I am aware that Boss Monsters don’t wear footwear & gloves but I just though it looked cool. 

-Wears a pair of aviator goggles. Inspired by Digimon.

-Uses equipment called “Jump Gears” strapped to his sides. They function similar to the ODM gear from Attack on Titan. Dr. Alphys likely watched said anime and got inspired…

-I set Asriel’s age in UT as an 8-year-old and based his design from the in-game sprites. Meanwhile the 12-year-old Asriel design is a bit scruffier and some floof here and there and has um.... boyband-ish hair? (Honestly, I’m not sure what hair style I gave him, lol)

- Asriel will use a normal sword called the Dogger Blade based on Kris’s sword from Deltarune.

-He is also armed with the Worn Dagger from Undertale. After Asriel’s resurrection, he inherited the dagger as a momentum to his lost sibling Chara.

Lore notes:

-Flavor text is added throughout the character sheets. Originally, they are just notes for myself, but I might as well show em off here too. Some of them may poke fun at Asriel to the point that he may respond in green text…

-The way Asriel is resurrected is basically borrowed from the Dreemurr Reborn AU. Only the circumstances behind his resurrection are different. Events would cause Frisk to merge their SOUL within Flowey, allowing them to restore Asriel’s monster body. However, because Frisk is using their Determination as a substitute for 7 human SOULS, they are the one recreating it from scratch.  Frisk only has enough power to make Asriel into a 12-year-old, and the form is permanent until Asriel ages normally.

-Asriel is still haunted by his past of what he did as “Flowey the Flower” and does not want to reveal himself that he is alive with Frisk’s SOUL. He takes on the name of “Azzy” instead. Unlike other AU's where it’s his nickname, the name "Azzy" will serve as his second alias instead.

-Acts like a rebellious teen but it’s really a cover to hide his insecurities. It should be noted that even after resurrection, Asriel has not regained the love and compassion he lost when his SOUL was destroyed. Thus, he retains his troublemaking traits from when he was “Flowey.” Inspired by the Underphase AU by Azen, ( @its-not-aphase ) & https://yet-another-saved-asriel.tumblr.com/ . To some extent, Susie from Deltarune is also an inspiration for this version of Asriel. 

-New abilities added. One of them will be called “Hyperdeath Slash,” which Asriel dashes forward with his sword and slashes his opponent faster than they can react. Normally used to destroy an opponents’ weapons or destroy thick armor.  This will be his signature move.

- In this world, a glitch in the post pacifist timeline caused elements from Deltarune to seep into the world, and beings called “Titans” have spawned out from Dark Fountains all over the world. Hometown Kingdom is this AU’s version of Deltarune’s Hometown and is protected by the Royal Sky Knights, the successor to the Royal Guard seen in Undertale. In the story, Asriel undergoes training to become one of the knights for Hometown to fight the Titans from Deltarune, but will operate under his new alias “Azzy” instead.

Agatha is the sister of empress jade. in the light world she is the thrown away flowers.

she loved her sister a lot. especially when she was young, and jade was the only thing she had.

however, when the crystals appeared while jade saw ultimate power in them that could be harnessed, Agatha saw evil and danger in them.

but when she tried to warn jade, jade thought she was a traitor and kicked her out leaving Agatha out on the streets.

agatha felt betrayed knowing that jade chose the crystals over her own sister after everything she gave her.

knowing that no one was going to listen to her she ran away never to be seen again.

but one day she met a mysterious man who gave her a shadow crystal. telling her that she will give her the power to become a very powerful soldier and use her powers to save other souls from the control of the crystals. but she will never be happy again.

knowing that she still cared about her people and wanted to save them. she gladly accepted.

but once she held the shadow crystal, she saw something awful. something that she wish she never saw. that's what made her not only permanently depress but insane.

but this didn't stop her from her mission.

she returned to her homeland and started slaughtering the darkners one by one. freeing them one by one.

but even with all this. she wanted freedom herself.

hoping that one day. she would escape this cruel world. and reach heaven.

I think its time I tell you the lore of the deltarune recreated chapter 1 secret boss. so here it is.

collector is the youngest member of the magic club but also the most powerful. using his magic to perfill dreams collector was loved by everyone. having a big fanbase and everything.

collector was especially adored by his fellow magic club members as they treated him like a brother.

but even with all that power and all that love it still wasn't enough. he wanted more. he wanted to see the future through stars.

so one day he met a strange man. and that man gave him a shadow crystal to be able to see the future through. stars.

and with that power collector was finally satisfied. or was he.

unfortunately the power was more of a curse than a gift.

cause when he looked through the stars he was horrified. he saw a future that would doom them all.

but when he went to tell everyone else, no one believed him. they all thought he was crazy. including his own magic club members.

feeling betrayed the collector cursed the dark world with a bad omen. an omen. that would take away the things that were adored by everyone in the dark world.

when everyone found out this. they sent the royal guard to try to capture and kill the collector.

but the collector was never found. he mysteriously dissapeared.

the collector knowing that no one would believe him. searched a way to escape his fate himself. killing anyone who witness his presents and killing any magic club members he came across as revenge for betraying him.

he wishes to take sam's soul to escape his fate and reach freedom.
